Your learning materials and exams are all delivered through your web browser. You will be able to access your account from any computer with an internet connection. The OnlineEd system is compatible with all major browsers and operating systems.

Our program has been rigorously reviewed, approved, and authorized for continuing education credit by the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Our 2017 8-hour continuing education course meets the NMLS course guidelines for continuing education credit.
Some course packages have also been approved for DBO and CalBRE real estate continuing education credit.

We have courses for MLO continuing education, DBO-required courses, 8-hour MLO course with CalBRE real estate credit, and combined CalBRE real estate and CalBRE MLO continuing education courses. Choose the package that is right for you.
You need to be registered with the NMLS before you can earn continuing education credits.
If you do not have an NMLS ID number and need to obtain one, create one using the instructions available at the NMLS Resource Center.
If you already have an NMLS ID but don't remember what it is:
MLOs are required to take a minimum of 8 hours of continuing education every year in Federal Laws and Regulations, Ethics, non-traditional mortgage training, and mortgage origination. Our California courses are available both for MLO and for Real Estate continuing education, and we also offer the required course for those licensed by the DBO.
The SAFE Act requires licensed Mortgage Loan Originators to take a minimum of 8 hours of continuing education every year. Additionally, there are many Mortgage Loan Originators in California who are also real estate licensees, so some of our course packages are approved by the California Bureau of Real Estate to satisfy continuing education requirements for California real estate agents.
If you need MLO continuing education and don't want CalBRE credit, our 8-hour Originator Essentials course meets the NMLS guidelines for continuing education:8-hour Originator Essentials course
If your MLO license is issued by the California Department of Business Overisight (DBO), you need:8-hour California DBO MLO Continuing Education course
If you need MLO continuing education AND you want CalBRE credit, our California Bureau of Real Estate approved course also provides 8 hours towards your CalBRE license renewal:8-hour Originator Essentials (For California Real Estate Licensees)
If you need to take 45 hours of CalBRE-required real estate continuing education, our 45-hour package includes credit for both MLO and Real Estate CE:45-hour EdPak SAFE - CalBRE / NMLS Renewal package
Once you have completed the course, OnlineEd will notify the NMLS of your continuing education credit hours.
