The Georgia Real Estate Commission requires 36 hours of continuing education (CE) to renew a Georgia real estate salesperson license. Real estate licenses must be renewed every 4 years. CE credits must be acquired within the 4-year period to count towards the license renewal requirement. Continuing education must include a 3-hour License Law course.
New Agents:
Newly licensed salespersons must complete a 25-hour post license course in their first year after obtaining a new license. The post license course may only count as 9 hours of your 36-hour continuing education requirement. You you must complete the remaining 27 hours during your first renewal period.
