New Simplified Removal of Discriminatory Provisions from Deeds a closer look at HB 4134
Unfortunately, many deeds in Oregon still contain discriminatory and unlawful language. Join us on April 13th at 9am to hear from Pat Ihnat, counsel at Fidelity National Title, and learn about the new process for removing discriminatory provisions from deeds as part of the recently passed House Bill 4134. Oregon REALTORS lobbyist, Shaun Jillions, will dive into the legislation, providing background on the bill and how we got here. Pat Ihnat will expand on the prohibited discriminatory restrictions, recently-enacted law establishing procedure for removal of restrictions under ORS 93.274, and court forms developed for use by the public.
Live class offered 4/13/2021.
This course will remain available to students for 365 days after enrollment.
