Personal safety is an important consideration for real estate professionals, who often work independently and interact with individuals they may not know. Daily activities such as showings, open houses, and client meetings can present potential safety risks that require awareness and preparation.

This course examines common risks faced by real estate professionals and provides practical strategies to reduce exposure to harm. Topics include situational awareness, personal safety practices, and the use of tools and technology to enhance security during real estate activities.

The course also addresses digital security considerations and the importance of protecting personal and client information. In addition, it explores how to promote a culture of safety within a brokerage or team environment. Emphasis is placed on proactive planning, risk awareness, and professional practices that support personal safety.

All refunds will be completed within 30 days after the effective date of enrollment termination. This course provides a comprehensive review of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, including its historical development, structure, and application in real estate transactions. It examines duties owed to clients, customers, the public, and other REALTORS®, along with requirements related to disclosure, cooperation, and professional conduct.
