It reviews how federal protections apply to sexual orientation and gender identity, along with the responsibilities of real estate professionals to support lawful and inclusive housing practices.
The course also examines common energy-efficient upgrades and their role in residential transactions. Emphasis is placed on understanding these topics in a practical context to support compliance, informed conversations with clients, and professional service.
This course covers the following topics:
Unit 1: Fair Housing - Protecting LGBTQIA+ Rights
Overview of protections related to sexual orientation and gender identity, including legal developments and compliance considerations.
Unit 2: Legal Updates - Energy-Efficient Upgrades
Examination of common residential energy-efficiency improvements and general considerations related to costs and benefits.
