This course equips real estate professionals with the strategies, tools, and techniques needed to plan, promote, and host successful open houses that generate leads and close deals. Students will explore the three core types of open houses — Broker's Open, Neighborhood Sneak Peek, and Public Open — as well as the high-impact Mega Open House format designed to showcase properties on a large scale and build lasting client relationships.
Topics covered include how to identify and secure properties to host, setting up a professional and welcoming environment, and leveraging both digital and traditional marketing channels to maximize attendance. Students will learn best practices for signage, visitor sign-in, disclosure requirements, and the use of technology tools such as Curb Hero to capture and manage leads in real time.
The course also covers the art of engagement, including how to use the Three Magic Questions to qualify visitors and convert open house traffic into buyer and seller clients. Closing techniques for both buyers and sellers are introduced, giving students practical scripts they can apply immediately in the field.
By the end of this course, students will be able to: find and secure open house opportunities, execute a comprehensive promotion and marketing plan, host a professional open house from setup to close, and apply proven closing techniques to generate new business.
