This course is designed to give the student a working introduction to commercial and industrial leasing and sales. This course is designed to provide an overview of commercial transactions and to answer the question "How does a residential agent get started in commercial real estate?"

This course has been designed to provide the student with:

  • Knowledge of those factors that must be presented concerning commercial property
  • Methods of locating potential listings.
  • An understanding of how to evaluate the client’s needs.
  • An awareness of several merchandising methods, including exchange meetings and marketing sessions.
  • Marketing techniques.
  • Financing strategies for commercial properties
  • Preparing and using the investment analysis as an effective marketing tool and to establish realistic operating and resale objectives
