12 Hour California Insurance Code and Ethics

This course fulfills the 12-hour Ethics and California Insurance Code requirement under California Insurance Code Section 1749(g). If you’re pursuing multiple license types, including:

• Property Broker-Agent
• Casualty Broker-Agent
• Personal Lines Broker-Agent
• Life-Only Agent
• Accident and Health Agent

You only need to complete this course once for all applicable license types.

Each section contains reading material and short questions to help reinforce learned topics. At the end of each chapter is a multiple-choice quiz to test your comprehension of the materials covered in the chapter. Each quiz requires identity verification at the beginning as required by the CDI. You must score 100% on each quiz before unlocking the next section. Quizzes may be retaken as needed to ensure understanding.

Skipping ahead or fast-tracking through course materials is not permitted.

A final exam is presented at the end of this 12-hour course. The final exam is comprised of 36 multiple choice questions and requires a minimum passing score of 70%. You may attempt the final exam as often as needed until the passing score is achieved. A certificate of completing will be issued after successfully completing the final exam.
