GraphicThis course will cover several fundamental state regulations that Arizona mortgage licensees must be familiar with. Reviewing important laws in Arizona's residential mortgage loan industry will ensure that mortgage professionals are compliant with the state's expectations of behavior.

This AZ MLO license continuing education course will cover three topics. The first module of the course will review the basic experience requirements for mortgage loan originator licensing, mortgage broker licensing, and mortgage banker licensing. The reasons as to why a license can be revoked or rejected will also be explained.

The second module of this course will outline prohibited activities. There are some activities that are not permitted for all license categories, but then there are also activities that are specifically restricted based on how the person is licensed. It is important to understand what conduct is allowed and is not allowed.

The third module of this course specifically covers the disciplinary actions that are available to the Deputy Director of the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions (DIFI) for detected violations of the mortgage law.
