This course will cover several fundamental state regulations that Arizona mortgage licensees must be familiar with. Reviewing important laws in Arizona's residential mortgage loan industry will ensure that mortgage professionals are compliant with the state's expectations of behavior.
This course will cover three topics. The first module of the course will review the basic experience requirements for mortgage loan originator licensing, mortgage broker licensing, and mortgage banker licensing. The reasons as to why a license can be revoked or rejected will also be explained.
The second module of this course will outline prohibited activities with regard to all three license types. There are some activities that are not permitted for all license categories, but then there are also activities that are specifically restricted based on how the person is licensed. It is important to understand what conduct is allowed and is not allowed.
The third module of this course specifically covers the disciplinary actions that are available to the Superintendent of the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions (AZDFI) for detected violations of the mortgage law.
This course is broken down into several learning topics. At the end of the course a 15-question final exam will be given. The topics included in this course are:
