How To Renew Your Kansas Real Estate License
The Kansas Real Estate Commision has specified that Salespersons and Brokers must complete 12 hours of continuing eductation courses every 2 years. The continuing education must be completed by the last day of the month before the month that the license is set to expire in.
- Salespersons must take a 3 hour mandatory course called "Required Salesperson and Broker Core". The remaining 9 hours can be elective courses.
- Brokers must take a 3 hour mandatory courses called "Required Broker Core" and the 3 hour mandatory course "Required Salesperson and Broker Core". The remaining 6 hours can be elective courses.
As licensees complete their continuing education credits, the schools will submit the student's transcript to the Commission. Course credit verification must be sent to the Commission within 7 days of the course completion. It is recommended that students also keep copies of their CE certificate.

After the 12 hours of education have been completed, Salespersons and Brokers can submit the application for renewal online at the Access Kansas Renewal web site.
