South Carolina requires 10 hours of continuing education every two years for license renewal. Brokers and Associates must complete a 4-hour CORE course on South Carolina laws, followed by 6 hours of elective topics. Brokers In Charge (BIC) must complete a 4-hour CORE course, a 4-hour advanced course designed for BICs, and 2 hours of electives. All CE may be completed anytime within the 2-year license term before license renewal, which is open from April 1 through June 30 of the expiration year.

Important: All continuing education must be completed before June 30. Be sure to complete your courses early to allow time for reporting before you renew your license.
All course providers in South Carolina are required to report completed courses to CE Broker.
