We start with the definition of seller carried transaction, explain the different ways to structure and secure seller financing, list various default and foreclosure remedies, identify how to mitigate payment risk for the buyer, and what you can do as a broker without involving a lender or lawyer and how your responsibilities will vary depending on if you represent the buyer or seller.
This 1-hour course is made of a series of video segments. Each video must be watched from beginning to end to unlock the next video. There are short quizzes between video segments. There is no comprehensive final exam at the end of the course. An Oregon real estate continuing education certificate of completion will be downloadable after all of the videos have been watched and the required time is spent in the course. All Oregon continuing education courses must be time-monitored.
