Learning Objectives

After completing this course, students will be able to

  1. Understand how the contract affects the escrow process.
  2. Understand what role escrow plays in the real estate transaction.
  3. Understand that COMMUNICATION is key to the process.
  4. Understand what the escrow holder will need to prepare the instructions; documents; order payoff statements; homeowner’s association documentation etc.
  5. Understand what paperwork and information is required from each party in the real estate transaction
