Georgia Real Estate License Training Courses
Georgia Real Estate Pre-LicenseTo become a real estate Salesperson in Georgia, you must be 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED. You will need to complete a 75-hour real estate pre-license training course and collect a Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) report. The report can be ordered at most local sheriff's offices or police stations in the state.
After you have completed the 75 hours of required real estate education, the Georgia state exam provider, Applied Measurement Professionals Inc., will be notified of the completion. You will need to contact AMP in order to schedule - your state licensing exam.
After passing the state exam, AMP will issue you an inactive Salesperson license. In order to activate the license, you will need to submit a Sponsoring Broker Statement form and the GCIC report to AMP for processing. A Salesperson can not legally practice real estate until the license has been activated.
