This course will introduce you to the rules and laws and other business practices that must be considered when starting or managing a real estate brokerage. Issues that will be introduced include:
- Oregon's required company policy and procedures manual
- Advertising rules and laws
- Accounting and other financial matters relating to the operation of a brokerage
- Licensee compensation programs
- Starting a businesss in Oregon
- Client confidentiality
- Permitted agency relationships
Upon completion of this course you will have a working knowledge of the issues and procedures required to start or manage a real estate brokerage.

This course is delivered in your Web browser and is composed of approximately 48 pages of printer friendly text. There is a five question review quiz following each of the four chapters and a final competency examination following the last chapter. A score of 60% is required for each chapter quiz and 75% for the course final competency examination. Your certificate of completion is available for printing as soon as you pass the final examination.
