The course is delivered entirely over the internet. This course package includes:

  • Oregon General Insurance and Law: This course is an overview of the Oregon insurance system and explains general insurance terminology, types of insurers, and consumer disclosures. It also contains an overview of the Oregon insurance system and licensing regulation.

  • Oregon Life Insurance: This 20-hour course covers all required information for earning a life insurance producer license in Oregon. It covers the various types of life insurance classifications, term life and whole life policies, riders that can be attached to life insurance policies, underwriting, group life and annuities, and retirement plans.

  • Oregon Health Insurance: This 20-hour course covers all required information for earning a health insurance producer license in Oregon. It covers individual and group insurance, the various types of health plans offered by insurers, insurance provisions, dental insurance, disability insurance, and long-term care insurance.

  • Oregon Property and Casualty Insurance: This 40-hour course covers all required information for earning a property and casualty insurance agent license in Oregon. This course is divided into two parts: Personal Lines and Commercial Lines. We'll start with an overview of insurance terminology and regulations, then move on to property and homeowners insurance, business liability insurance, personal auto insurance, and finally miscellaneous insurance such as marine and flood. Next we'll move into commercial insurance and cover business owner policies (BOP), commercial package policies, business liability insurance, auto and fleet insurance, crime insurance, inland marine (transport) insurance, farm coverage, equipment breakdown, workers' compensation policies, and then miscellaneous insurance such as surety bonds.

  • Oregon Life Insurance Exam Prep: This online study guide has hundreds of questions regarding the topics covered in the Oregon Life Insurance course. At the end of the exam prep module is a test simulator that mimics the Oregon life insurance producer licensing exam, allowing you to test your knowledge during a 2-hour timed exam.

  • Oregon Health Insurance Exam Prep: This online study guide has hundreds of questions regarding the topics covered in the Oregon Health Insurance course. At the end of the exam prep module is a test simulator that mimics the Oregon health insurance producer licensing exam, allowing you to test your knowledge during a 2-hour timed exam.

  • Oregon Property and Casualty Exam Prep: This course is a test simulation of the property and casualty producer licensing exam. The practice exam will present 150 random questions with a 2-hour and 40-minute time limit. Students can take the practice exam as many times as needed to become confident to register for the actual Oregon licensing exam.

This package of courses also includes video commentary from the instructor at the end of each chapter, helping you retain the key points you will need to remember to become a licensed insurance agent. The Course

This course prepares students to meet the educational requirements to obtain a property and casualty insurance producer license in Oregon and is approved by the Oregon Division of Financial Regulation. As a part of its pre-license requirements, Oregon requires the completion of the study and mastery of nineteen topics. These nineteen topics are presented under the unit headings below.
