The Course

As part of its pre-license requirements, Oregon requires the mastery of seven topics: (click titles to view details)

Each topic is divided into chapters. At the end of each chapter, a review exercise will verify the student's comprehension of the chapter topic. At the end of each topic module, a final exam with a score of 75% or better is required by the OREA. Don't be afraid of exams; your personal instructor will help you with anything you need!

Course Instructors and Student Support

Upon enrollment, each student will be given a course instructor to contact whenever the student determines that such contact will be helpful to review or explain course content, procedures or requirements. In addition, the instructor will review each quiz and final exam to assist the student in understanding course concepts.

Deadlines

This OnlineEd course may be completed by the student at the student's own pace and is not time-monitored. The student has 240 calendar days from the time of enrollment to complete the course.

Equipment Required

With exception of instructor support offered by telephone and email, the course, materials, and delivery system are entirely over the Internet. In order to be able to access and complete the course, the student only needs an Internet accessible computer. OnlineEd works with all modern web browsers and operating systems.

The course may be read online, can be printed out, and some chapters are available in MP3 audio format.

How To Get A Real Estate Broker License In Oregon

To conduct professional real estate activity in Oregon you must obtain a real estate license from the Oregon Real Estate Agency. The application process has four parts:

Education - Complete the OnlineEd Oregon state-approved pre-license course.
Background Check - Once your enroll in the course, we will send your background check authorization form. You should complete and return the form to the Oregon Real Estate Agency as soon as possible. (Background checks can take up to six weeks to process.)
State Licensing Exam - You must pass a state-proctored licensing examination, which will be administered by the state through an approved test provider. Testing centers are located throughout Oregon. Once you are enrolled in your course and have completed your background check, the agency will issue you a test center authorization number for scheduling your exam.
License Application - You must submit the state-required licensing application to the Oregon Real Estate Agency for review and approval.

Oregon Real Estate Exam Prep

The Exam Prep Module will assist the student in preparation for the state real estate exam. The module consists of a series of practice questions that are the basis for all real estate exams administered by the Oregon Real Estate Agency. A good working knowledge of these Questions will prepare the student for actual state administered examination.
